Progress has been made in Glasgow to keep 1.5 within reach as the world comes together for our planet and people at COP26.

COP26 Glasgow Climate Pact agreed upon and signed. However, it will only survive if promises are kept and commitments turn into swift action.

This agreement is a big win for the multilateral approach to climate change. While the work is not quite finished yet, COP26 has laid a solid foundation for future progress and is a positive contribution to the improved climate ambition. 

For GP TECH, COP26 is more than just an action. It is about reinventing ourselves to build a more sustainable future. Now the road to success will be challenging. We need plans for all sectors. We need to bring all stakeholders on the journey with us, complex technical proposals, and a high level of supply chain collaboration.

Countries have raised their ambition, committed to real action, and accelerated their progress to tackle climate change.

But it’s not over. Together we must continue to deliver.
